Located at urbanization Bahía Doncella, the house is part of a lovely, cozy Spanish residency, and has got all you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday – making it the perfect destination for both families as well as couples looking for a secluded hide-away. Because of its central location, the options to enjoy your holiday are endless : from a walk on the beach to the port of Estepona, enjoying a delicious lunch at the historic center of this magnificent city, or simply drive around Andalusia.
Once you open the door to the house, you’re immediately taken by the breathtaking views of the sea. To be honest, most of our guests walk straight up to the living room sliding doors to open them, accessing the private garden and take a deep breath. It’s that moment when they realize their holiday has started.
The comfortable and spacious living room is decorated with a modern, contemporary touch, which also offers a sleeping sofa for a seventh guest staying. The dining area is furnished with a large dinner table, accommodating up to 8 people and the adjacent kitchen carries all necessities for a sunny breakfast, lunch or a home-cooked dinner. The private garden with terrace and lawn is furnished with a dinner table, lounge chairs and sunshades, with a picket fence, leading you to the beach. A minute-walk from the house, the unheated communal pool is open all-year and is the perfect place to relax at.
The first floor houses two bedrooms and two bathrooms – one master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and one guest bedroom with a bunk bed, with an adjacent bathroom as well. Both bedrooms offer plenty of cabinet space, whereas the master bedroom offers a small balcony with amazing views to the sea. The master bathroom is equipped with a bath and in-bath shower, a separate toiler, a double sink and houses a washing machine too. The guest bathroom has a double sink, a toilet and a shower.
The second floor offers a third bedroom and bathroom, with a small terrace accessible from the bedroom - which give you another breathtaking view onto the sea and beaches of Estepona when waking up. The bathroom is equipped with a double sink, shower, and separate toilet.
Decorated and equipped up to high standards, including all the modern comforts you need, Casa Danvers has a fast WiFi network, a Smart TV, air conditioning and heating, and multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy the Spanish sun. The house accommodates up to seven guests and carries everything you need, making it a true a home away from home.
OUT AND ABOUT
If you travel by car, you can park your car in front of the house at a reserved, private parking space. A thirty-minute beach walk brings you to the port of Estepona, offering an array of restaurants, supermarkets as well as the famous Sunday market too. A 5-minute drive away brings you to Estepona, the award-winning bustling and vibrant city, also known as “The garden of the Costa del Sol”. Close to the house and along the A7, supermarkets, restaurants and golf clubs can be found too.
IT'S NICE TO SEE YOU
You will be greeted by Esther and Pascal, who will help you with all you need during your stay, and they will hand-over the keys to the apartment and parking. They speak English, Spanish, Dutch, German, and basic French and are the owners of aire - a family-owned, small-scale property and guest agency and cozy concept store, located in Estepona. Prior to your arrival, the apartment has been thoroughly cleaned. If you’d like to schedule an extra cleaning during your stay, please let us know as this can be arranged at an additional fee.
LOCATION AND MUST-SEES
Casa Danvers is located at Bahía Doncella, part of the council of Estepona, close to the port of Estepona and with direct access to the beaches of Playa de Guadalobón. The house is perfectly located to discover the surrounding villages in the area, as well as Andalusia. Simply take a twenty-minute drive to explore one of the most famous pueblos blancos, Casares. Both Sotogrande and Marbella and Puerto Banus are within a twenty-five-minute drive away too. The beach at your doorstep offers a great opportunity to enjoy a tasty lunch at one of the chiringuitos (beach restaurants). If you'd l like to take a walk or ride a bike, the ‘Senda Litoral” - a coastal pathway connecting all major cities along the coast - is a great way to explore the area too. The location is perfect to take a tour through Andalusia too as amazing cities such as Sevilla, Malaga, Cordoba, Ronda and Tarifa are within driving reach - travel time by car varies from one to four hours away.
We recommend you to also visit the smaller, lesser-known villages nearby such as San Luis de Sabinillas or Manilva as both villages are not crowded by mass-tourism yet and the locals are one of the friendliest people we’ve ever met.
